Samuel Serrano is a former professional boxer from Puerto Rico. He was born on August 23, 1952, in Toa Baja. Serrano had a long and successful career, competing in the featherweight and super featherweight divisions. He held multiple world titles during his career, including the WBA featherweight title from 1979 to 1980 and the WBC super featherweight title from 1983 to 1984. He retired with a record of 49 wins, 9 losses, and 1 draw, with 21 of his wins coming by knockout. Serrano was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2005.
